“No matter how hard we try to run from God or hide from Him, we can never get away from His presence. Just look at Adam and Eve. They hid from God but he still found them.
“I have tried running and hiding but I can’t get away. I am so glad God didn’t just let me keep running away. He loved me so much that I have fallen, not away from him, but into His love and embrace. I want to thank Him so much for all He has done for me. Nothing is too big or too small for Him.
“I also want to thank you, Pops, for coming out every week and loving us more than you love yourself. A lot of our families and friends gave up on us but you didn’t. You’ve been a great Father and I want to be just like you.”
